Selecting the Right Tenant
Every landlord dreads the thought of having a ‘nightmare’ tenant in their property. Our property managers know that the tenant selection process can be one of the most crucial decisions in having your investment run smoothly therefore we ensure every measure is taken to assist you in choosing the right tenant. All prospective tenants undertake careful verification screening and thorough checks by the property manager.
The verification process includes the following:
– Verify employment stability
– Employers and professional references are checked
– Previous Estate Agent and / or Landlord provides relevant past history
– Credit Reference Checks through the National Tenancy Database to confirm there are no past defaults
Once processed, the final decision is put forward to you as the landlord, which once an agreement is reached we can commence all relevant documentation to legally secure the prospective client to the tenancy agreement.
